1 - G-STAR RAW & THE VISIONARY LAB

On the occasion of the EARTH DAY, the Dutch denim brand and the creative agency have joined the WENDELIEN DAAN photo exhibition called «DENIM FOR EARTH» in Amsterdam city.

G-STAR RAW – Designer : Yuki Isshiki

To face the ecologic disaster which represents the denim manufacturing, particularly blasting jeans and poisonous dyes, artists et fashion designers represent the denim in many forms and everybody have used sustainable techniques, such as the Japanese quilting method SAKIORI with recycled fabrics and natural plant-based dyes.

2 - MONCLER GENIUS & CRAIG GREEN

Invited by the Italian brand MONCLER for its GENIUS PROJECT program, the English designer CRAIG GREEN has created an outerwear dressing faithful to his convictions: the relationship between the human being and his environment, the fusion of the body to his mode of transport and movement.

3 - CHARLOTTE KNOWLES CONVERT WASTE INTO DESIRABLE PURPOSES

The photographer HARLEY WEIR and the designer CHARLOTTE KNOWLES have joined together to create a capsule collection surprisingly named «RUBBISH» imaged by the first one, and entirely realized with recycled material by the second one.

Each garment is printed with RUBBISH 1.2 photos, a continuous serie of garbage pictures that WEIR photography has taken since 2015. A part of the net earnings related to the sale of the collection (exclusively on SSENSE website) will be tied up in the protection of oceans.
