At the last Who’s Next trade show in Paris, we met Fanny Dheygere, only just 30 years old, on the stand of her young brand Ninii, launched in 2015. A favorite that we wanted to share with you for her universe full of irony and fantasy.

Ninii’s collections are riding the “kidult” trend with acid colors and playful pop embroideries, inspired by the personal universe of the designer who is fascinated by the nineties clubbing spirit and streetwear garde-robe. But what we like the most about Ninii, is the Frenchy and playful touch fused with the Tokyo-90’s spirit, for a kitsch and quirky humor cloakroom that fits the (very) young women of today. The oversize alongside the extra-stretch; lycra, neoprene, glittery and colorful fleece become bomber, sweatshirt, shorts or tight skirt. The designer attaches a great importance to the choice of materials she finds all over the place.

After a first collection entitled “Food”, making a eulogy of food: Salami, french fries cones and Ham, the designer signs a second “Fairy Tales” collection made of bombers covered in glittery patches, toned pink Malabar or white pearl. For next summer, Asia seemed to inspire the brand. Delicate pink pastel materials, and powdered blues decorate neo Chinese embroideries: legendary fish patterns and lucky charms…

We wish this label all the success it deserves and to keep the mischievous freshness that characterizes it !
