Until January 3, 2021, at the Palais de la Porte Dorée, the first and beautiful exhibition is exclusively dedicated to the Parisian shoes creator, Christian Louboutin. At the entrance, a marking sign forbidding to wear high heels to preserve floor mosaics, makes us laugh. The retrospective wants to be such as a trip through all the creative universes of the stylist.

A series of collaborations with some artists like the sculptors duo Whitaker and Malem, the photographer Pierre Molinier, the striper Dita Von Teese, the street perforator Lya Traoré, the plastic artist Lisa Reihana, stages the gorgeous iconic red sole shoes.

A « pop corridor »  gathers testimonies and memories of celebrities and their complicity with Louboutin.

Plunged into the dark, the « Fetish » room alludes to different forms of fetichist attachment, siamese heels or stiletto with picots. The end of the exhibition offers an imaginary museum that we can see as a tribute to iconic figures of his personnal pantheon.
