February 2020: Fall / Winter fashion week begin! Always so committed, New York creators aim at showing through their catwalks important societal issues, such as the sustainable & eco-friendly vision, the right to abortion or the questioning of American politics. However, many designers have not wanted to present their lines this season: Tom Ford, Jeremy Scott, Ralph Lauren, Pyer Moss or Alexander Wang. Which brings us to wonder about the continuity of this event in NYC.

But let’s focus on a fresh boost of optimism and focus on the big names in fashion who are still essential.

AN ULTRA COMFY COCOONWEAR

To counter winter and its freezing cold, the cocoonwear style is the top ! This season, we favor knitwear and layering. The fluffy appearance and the comfortable, enveloping cuts provide much-needed comfort.

BALLOON SLEEVES

As already seen since a few seasons, balloon sleeves are still very prominent on catwalks. In a blouse, shirt, sweater, cardigan or coat, the sleeves swell in volume and shoulders gain in size.

THE ALL OVER PATTERNED COSTUME

For a chic and “business woman” look, the pants suit is a must in the wardrobe, but it is played more daring this season. Entirely printed with patterns or full brocade, its classic side is enhanced by a total bold look assumed.

LE COSTUME À MOTIF ALL OVER
