CARLIN’S POINT OF VIEW: Sign of the times, Airbnb democratizes the aristocratic “Grand Tour” while responding to the desire to live a “romantic” adventure as Phileas Fogg, hero of Jules Verne’s “Around the World in Eighty Days”. The perfect combo to share lots of pictures on Instagram!
HAS ADOBE FOUND THE ANTIDOTE AGAINST DEEPFAKES?
As part of its fight against “fake content”, Adobe has developed, in collaboration with the University of Berkley, an algorithm based on machine learning. CARLIN’S POINT OF VIEW: With the “deepfake“, the dissemination of pictures and videos rigged including social networks, promise future wars of information and communication. Expertises able to detect the true from the false, able to cross the sources and able to select them well to put them in perspective will be precious. In this, the Adobe’s example illustrates the need now essential for brands to clarify their commitment to ethics.
GREENCODE, THE NEW YUKA
In an era where consumers are demanding more transparency, we have seen several initiatives flourish to help them make better consumer choices on a daily basis. After the Yuka application mentioned in our Impulse FW20/21, Greencode, a new informative application is launched on June 15 on our smartphones. Its added value? Avoid food waste, notify product recalls, provide more nutritional information by including the SENS system (recommended frequency of consumption) and the Nutri-Score. Another particularity of Greencode is the possibility to indicate when creating its profile, your food intolerances, diets or any other restrictions, in order to be guided towards more suitable products. CARLIN’S POINT OF VIEW: The convergence of services is strengthening: after the telephony that had transform in a bank, it is quite logical that social networks try their luck! If these movements can facilitate our daily lives, they could also work to oligopolistic reinforcements to monitor.

Finally, icing on the cake, the brand has introduced a reward system in the form of reusable credits on their next trips. Source : Pressecitron– le 17/06/2019
CARLIN’S POINT OF VIEW: The revolution of shared mobility service is engaged. Global warming and the resulting urban pollution will profoundly change the planning of the coming years. Tomorrow the car will no longer occupy the major space of our streets and corridors for light electric vehicles or not will become essential.
