Airbnb, announced on June 17, 2019, a new service “Airbnb Adventures”, which will be officially in operation on June 20, 2019. HAS ADOBE FOUND THE ANTIDOTE AGAINST DEEPFAKES?

As part of its fight against “fake content”, Adobe has developed, in collaboration with the University of Berkley, an algorithm based on machine learning. It can detect up to 99% if an image has been modified or faked. FACEBOOK DONNE NAISSANCE À UNE NOUVELLE MONNAIE INTERNATIONALE

Facebook unveils its international crypto-currency “Libra” which will be ready for use in 2020. It was created in collaboration with 27 giants of Silicon Valley including Uber, Lyft, eBay, Mastercard, Visa and the French mobile operator Free. It is named after an old measurement unit used to measure the weight of coins back in the Roman Empire. It will be indexed to the euro and the dollar to prevent any change in value and will be based on a private blockchain called “Libra blockchain”. Hoping to permanently impose its payment solution, Facebook has founded a Swiss subsidiary “Calibra” which will handle the application (Calibra), the digital portfolio of the new currency.
